hi ,i just bought a used 18hp evinrude outboard,im trying to find the model # but cant find it,,,,,,,,would somebody maybe know the location or at least recomend were to look.im trying to find it's age. thanks mark
Check the outboard, port side if the transom clamp for a small tag with the model & serial nr. If no joy there, look on the engine for a shiney welch plug. Looks kinda like a freeze plug. It should have model & serial nr. stamped on it.<br /><br />g'luck & c/6<br /><br />Hooty
