A friend is looking at this boat,it said to be a 1968 Lonestar.It's aluminum and around 16ft.The motor is bad,and he's asking $300-for it.Did they still make Lonestars in 1968,and what model could it be?Thanks
Hey Patriot, I can't seem to open the thumbnail attachment to get a good look at the boat in question, but I can tell you that Lone Star was acquired by Chrysler Corp. in 1965 and in 1966 these boats were called "Chrysler Lone Star". The Lone Star name was phased out in 1967.
You can check the Fiberglassics site to see if some of the mid-60's Lone Stars match your boat.
