lonestar stern ligtht lens

well, i have been restoring a lonestar saratoga 1959 year boat. i was rewiring it today. i managed to drop the lens for the stern light. well, since it was made of glass it shattered in the garage. after much sorrow and tears i finally got over it. i know i cannot get a new one but i really would like to get another glass lens if i can, does anyone know of a boat junk yard or dealer where i might be able to get such an item? i really would like to replace it with the glass to keep it original.

They are availible- but you will have to look hard online-check with the Lone Star Owners Group on line-
-I had a 1957 LoneStar Eldorado until recently- you might find one in a old boat salvage yard-good Luck

Been there done that. There were several companies making them back in the day and all were different sizes. I found a couple but none would fit. I bought a new light with a plastic lens, but the judge at the next show took off 3 points and boy was I pi$$ed.

I ended up getting a whole light on e-bay. It was brand new nos and it cost a bundle, but it got me a first place in the next show so it was worth it.

thanks. i think i will follow ebay and other lists to find one. i cannot bear the thought of plastic but i might have to eventually.
