i have a 1981 long trailer. on my registration gr veh wt 03000 glass G do any one know what the G stands for? I try to call long trailer company, they out of business when on there wed site did'nt fine any thing about what the G stands for.thanks everyone and be safe while trailing your boat.

If you are getting that info from your registration the "G" is probably a code that your state uses for internal purposes. Sounds like it is registered for a maximum gross weight of 3,000 pounds which is normal for a single axle trailer. You could go to your local license branch and they could tell you what the "G" stands for.
