Re: Long Winter

popping bubble wrap is a perfect wind down to reading the whole thread on religion.

Had to wipe out the manic model about 20 times laughing the whole time.

Re: Long Winter

This winter is going just fine for us. We had a total snowfall of about 100 inches so far and only about 6-8 inches on the ground.

But it just doesn't have the same satisfaction as feeling those little bubbles make that popping sound of their death as you squeeze the life out of them!

Re: Long Winter

I don't care if I am bored or not, there is something very relaxing about popping bubble wrap.
First as you start to slowly squeeze, if you listen real close you can hear that little bubble screaming and crying for mercy. Just before the burst you can hear the bubble begging. All of the other bubbles start crying and begging too. Then the fatal pop as the life goes out of the bubble. All of the other bubbles cry in anguish, then realize the fear as you search for the next one.
The coolest thing is when popping bubble wrap I have the power to decide who to pop and who to spare. The power of being in control of my own little world of bubbles.

Re: Long Winter

You guys are too much. :)

Has anyone ever seen the British comedy/scifi show Red Dwarf? In one episode, Lister went back in time and 'invents' a tension relieving device and becomes the richest man in the world. The device? Bubble wrap painted red with his company logo on it. :D
