Re: Longblock V6 Vortec

I just got an older 4.3 longblock for $1500 w/ shipping, core and warranty from
www.remanufactured-marine-engines.com

They really seemed to know their stuff and are members of the BBB and have been around for a generation. If you read the posts around here everyone seems to frown on the regular auto engines without the proper upgrades. These marine guys might be worth checking out.

Re: Longblock V6 Vortec

Tomo3
We replaced a 4.3 block that had 2 hours and was involved in a hard freeze with a rebuilt Goodwrench unit (long block) we used everything except we changed the water pump of course and replaced the freeze plugs with brass units. It worked ok I could not tell any performance differences and I new it was still running fine at least 4 years later!
