Hi. The 1991 18' bass buggy came with a trailer that looks like it is meant for a 16 footer the bunk boards are 11 1/2' long with three brackets that hold the boards, and boards that are too short to support the last two feet of the boat. . I made up new boards that are 14' long-- one more foot in front and one and a half feet to the back. I made them all 2x6s in place of the 2x4s that were towards the inside- the outside ones were already 2x6. I just wondered if anybody else has used longer bunk boards on their pontoon trailer and if so did you have any problems--

like did you have to add more brackets to support the boards? I added some pictures of the way it is set up with the old boards. One of the front -one of the back- and one from the side. The only reason I added 1' to the front is for balance and so I could use the whole 14' boards.
