Thanks! I was also wondering if you had any pictures of your old DVX, as they are very few and far between on the internet. I totally believe you that there may only be two on the planet. lol.

This is what can happen when you go over rocky bottom in a shallow area. basically twice the prop damage and double the cost. Aluminum props give up pretty easy so even with this hit the internals are still ok.

Thats a good lookin vessel! It of course begs the question of why you got rid of it. Also, did it have thru hull?

Thanks. It had a thru hull transducer but not thru hull exhaust if that covers your question. As for getting rid of it, I'm just becoming more interested in unique boats in general and their restoration. Looking for a "downeast" project boat from the east coast after this next transom and deck replacement on my Steiger. We all get bit in different ways.

Well, if you are anywhere near me, and want to check out the Penn Yan in person, I may be co-erced into selling it. I cant have two boats, and would rather offer it to someone who loves the classics. There is only a few problems that I am working on.
#1 It is so quiet that I cant tell if it is running or not, and literally have to put it in gear to see if it is.
PS. itll go around 40, had it to 43 before. via the wish-o-meter.
#2 Im working on sanding out old cracks and blisters, and am going to re-gelcoat it.

#3 Simple cosmetics.
I just want it perfect is all.
