Okay, I'm going this weekend to look at a 1989 Larson 17 ft bowrider with the 3.0 liter Mercruiser Alpha One 135 hp. The pictures on Craig's List look great and the price is right...What kinds of things should I look for? Anyone have an idea on the weight of this boat? The seller is saying all the right things about the boat's condition, but this is Jan. in Minnesota, so I can't "try" the boat. Is there an "hour meter" on these boats? What would a reasonable hour reading be? What kinds of things should I be looking for in the engine/drive system? I have experience with outboards, but have never owned an I/O.Any particular issues with this year/type Larson? We are looking for a comfortable cruising, ocassional fishing boat to tow behind our fifth wheel camper. Any replies greatly appreciated. John
