Ok, that may be a tad overstated, but over in the Starcraft Owner's Group forum, you'll find that they'll think it's a great boat!

You'll like working on it better than any of those ol' f'glass boats!

There's lots of things you can do with that boat, if I was going to look at it tomorrow I'd be dreaming about cutting that closed bow out tonight.;)

I was looking at the same one. Thinking the same as jignrub. Then I would have to enter into the Starcraft Cult, eat a lot of words from the past, and.............................make up a good story to tell the Admiral. But, then I start dreaming of fishing out of that thing. Heading for Muskoka this weekend to but the winter tent on the toon. May give it a look if r.j. doesn't take it. Let us know what you're doing r.j.

And as long as your cutting out the enclosed bow yous might as well get rid of that pesky steering wheel,.............:D

Gonna take a pass Jeep. My buddy with the big garage took on an RV rebuild that won't be done until the spring so I priced out heated storage and at $250/month I think I'll look for something a little more turn key than that one. Live in a condo so I would need a place to work on it.:(

On a brighter note I did find this one. 16 FOOT---- STARCRAFT BOWRIDER - Ontario Powerboats, Motorboats For Sale - Kijiji Ontario Canada. Probably head over to have a look on the weekend. I've heard that you can cut your hands up pretty bad on aluminum boats. :eek: Should I take gloves? :D

Hey Jas. Ya I think it's not a bad price. Sorry about the glove remark....couldn't resist.

So you think it's an SS like yours? Do you think the 70hp is enough power?

I get what I deserve RJ:redface::p

Nah, that there is a Super Sport and a nice looking one too! I can't really see the interior but if the engine checks out that would be a great all around metal tub:)

Once you own an aluminum boat you'll never want to look at another fiberglass petri dish again.
