Looking at buying a 2013 Ranger 520 with a 2013 Pro XS. It was just got serviced in Nov-21 and I have the paperwork. They replaced Gear oil, new fuel filter, all new plugs, new plug wire on #6 and a new impeller. Estimated 300 hours on new powerhead and lower unit that was replaced under warranty. Tested with no codes.

Compression:
1 = 100
2 = 100
3 = 105
4 = 105
5 = 95
6 = 110

Any red flags here here?

What happened that both the power head and lower unit had to be replaced under warranty?

Is that a 2 stroke model, that year ? Not familiar with that particular engine to be honest. Assume it is a 2 stroke. If it was a 4 stroke like that pro xs in more recent years..they would be very low numbers for sure.
All that aside. If you have concerns around it…I’d urge you to try another gauge. I know I have a fairly cheap gauge that 100% reads 10-15 psi low, compared to a calibrated snap on gauge I used to compare it to.
