Grab a deep cycle marine battery, probably the best bet.
Also our 150 Merc wasn't run for years and years an d actually had mice living it in. Few seals later, cleaned the nest and bang fired right up on the hose... Needed the carbs rebuilt, but had it out on the water doing 50 mph for cheap.
