Looking at purchasing a new boat

Hello,

I am looking at purchasing a new (to me) boat. It is an 18' 1995 sunbird center consol with a 115 hp Johnson OceanRunner V4. The spark plugs that are in it are QL82YC. The owner is having a hard time getting the motor to crank, so my question is: Is this the correct spark plug, and if so, what should the correct gap be?
