looking for 1988 4.3 chevy timing specs

im trying to find my timing specs for a 88 omc 4.3 any ideas or a good link i can find for a reference ,thanks bfd72

According to Clymer: 175, 185 and 205, 4.3l and 4.3lx initial timing is 8 degrees btdc. Max advance is 22 degrees @2500rpm.

Strange; according to my Clymers, timing for an '88 4.3L Cobra is 6 deg BTDC using 89 AKI gas and 1 deg BTDC using 86 AKI gas.<br /><br />My 1989 OMC Service Manual lists 6 deg BTDC using 89 AKI gas or higher and 1 deg BTDC using 86-88 AKI gas. <br /><br />Dwell is 39 +- 2 deg (both manuals).
