Hi, I was given an old evinrude 4hp and it's been sitting a long time.

I ordered an impeller but noticed quite a bit of water in the lower leg oil. I guess I need to reseal the lower leg.

The serial number on the frost plug is c7044471

Can anybody point me in the direction of seals for this thing?

It also needs a gas tank cap.

Thanks
Spencer

I'm in canada and our dollar is total ****. Also I get raked over the coals for shipping. I always try to find parts north of the border first

My dealer from Ontario would ship to Vancouver no problem !----You need the MODEL # to look up the parts on most web sites !

Serial numbers are not used to determine a model # on your motor.----Posting a picture of your motor if it is original cosmetics could help.

Model # is usually on an aluminum tag riveted to the port side transom bracket..
