Looking for a part

Hey all,

I don't know if this is the place to post this or not, but I did not see any place else where it would be more appropriate to ask. I have a 1965 Speedi Four 75 H.P. Evinrude, model # 75553. It has a two barrel carburator on it. I am in need of one carburetor screen for it, and I cannot buy this part anywhere. It is part #305292. If anyone on here has one from a salvaged motor to sell, I would love to buy it from you, or maybe someone can steer me in the right direction on where to get it or at least where to post on the forum to let guys know I am looking for a specific part. thanks!

Gee, worse comes to worse, you should be able to fabricate something out of some punched aluminum. The Home Despot likely has something.

Yep, I thought of this as well if I cannot get the part. It is a two barrel carb, so I have the other screen to use as a pattern of sorts. It is made from a thick plastic with holes drilled thru it. I can fabricate one from a piece of plastic or aluminum. Looks like its purpose is to protect object from falling into the carburetor. Should be quite easy to fabricate one since I do have the pattern that I need. Thanks for the input!
