Hi, all. I need some advice on repairing some corrosion perforations on the transom of the boat I'm going through. My thought is to get a piece of aluminum sheet and fit it over the old one, scuff them up and epoxy and rivet it together, then use marine sealant around the edge after the epoxy has cured. Has anyone else done this and what alloy thickness should i use. Thanks
