Looking for Fuel Diaphram or rebuild kit

Johnson 225 Ocean Runner 97 or 98. I am looking for the fuel pump diaphram or rebuild kit. I have excessive smoke and have looked at the fuel lines for a leak. I am having trouble IDing the part numbers or finding what I need. I know it is not just a fuel but a VRO or OSM or something else.

A fuel restriction will make that pump draw more oil, with a built in fuel tank, check the anti-siphon valve. You can also do a oil consumption test as described in the service manual.

JB <br />I tried to navigate the parts finder service before I posted and there is no listing for a late 90s 225.<br />Or am I loking at the wrong section?<br />(Parts Finder : Evinrude outboard : Fuel System : Fuel Pump Kits)<br /><br />Also I have a twin set up and seperate oil tanks and both engines seem to be consuming close to the same amount of oil...

Click the BOATING FORUMS tab at the right side top of this page and click on FAQ and then to section F for VRO information and troubleshooting.<br /><br />The 1998 and later pumps are completely repairable and the parts are listed as well as the service procedures. Refer to the parts book and the factory service manual.
