Cannot answer that either, mine is already apart. That is why I was curious as to how it would work? Ill show a pic of the diaphragm I found like this too. I have never seen this before, all my other tanks had the threaded rod and nut.

nymarine has two different parts, but neither with three large holes, one does have the small hole for the pushrod?

If I were you, I would use the diaphragm you have, just pop a small hole in it for the rod. Use your old one as a template. Do you have a hole punch kit?

Im now equally confused as you as to how your discs are secured together if you had the threaded rod and nut? They should now just pop apart.

I made a boo boo. The diaphragm I found was a newer style, with less holes, riveted together. In the wrong box and with so many parts on my work bench didn't pay close enough attention. I retract my earlier statement

I had never seen Frank wrong when he says he is 100 percent certain, so knew something I was looking at was wrong lol

Well, there is a possibility that there is a very early tank out there that I've never seen. All I know is that the 1950 tanks were the Tall Boy style, then the tanks like we are discussing came out in 1951. I suppose there could be a real rare one in very early 1951 that is blowing everybody's mind here. But I've never seen it.

Thank you all for your feedback and insight...

Sorry it got a little hairy there for a second...

My boat is a 1952 Alumacraft, and the outboard is a 1955.....SOOO.... Maybe it is a 55' tank? I could not find any identifying markings other than on the housing units.. and those were just part numbers.

Not quite sure what to do... Ill keep digging around the interwebs to see what I can do.

I guess the best option would be to find the diaphragm that at least has the push rod hole... buy two new support washers and see if that blocked hole even does anything... test it and see what happens.

I am quite confident, use the diaphragm you have, punch a hole for the rod. It will work. Save yourself some cash. They don't make the ones with the third hole for a reason, they aren't needed.
