I know there are many opinions but...
1. How long in relationship to boat should the bunks be?
2. When is it advisable to have 2 sets of bunks vs. 1 set?
3. Should there be any weight on keel roller when boat is loaded?
4. Are keel rollers necessary?
I have 19' aluminum boat and am getting ready to redo trailer. Boat is gonna be a trailer queen. Wanting to make launching and loading as easy as possible. Would like to set it up once and be done. Current set up had too much weight on keel, boat was rocking side to side. Added 2x4 to existing bunks and boat seems stabilized. Keel rollers are a mess and need replacing or eliminating. Want to adjust bunks to where best launch and load is possible. Any and all info will be appreciated. Thanks.
