Hi all,

My brothers and I are trying to fix up an old boat that belonged to my grandfather. It is a Fabuglas runabout from the mid-1960's. The engine is a Johnson Super Sea Horse with M/N - RSDL-26R, and a S/N of J2483590. I believe the engine is from about the same era - mid 1960's, but I've been unable to pin it down. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

1964, 40hp sound right? I think your model # is RDSL-26R

Thanks for the info guys - I double checked the model number and the plate on the engine mount reads RSDL-26R. Could it be a mistake? The 1964 brochure that Bubbakat pointed me to certainly looks like the right paint scheme, but I don't know how long Johnson made engines that looked like that.
