Looking for info on dual cockpit Alumacraft

I am looking for information on a boat that is for sale locally.

I have not seen the boat in person, but the owner sent this rather low resolution picture.

Anyone know what the model and age of this boat would be?

It could be a Flying D. You would be lucky to be able to acquire such a boat. Could it look like this?

To know for sure about the boat, is there a ID plate near the transom? Or get the stamped ID on the top of the center transom brace. Call or e-mail Sue Prax at Alumacraft and give your information. Maybe this is a Model M. I own one and am trying to get the history on this boat. It was purchased by my parents in the early to mid 50's.

I have acquired a dual cockpit alumacraft recently. I'm not sure on the year or model. All I know is that it handles great, gets a lot of looks and comments, and is a lot of fun. I had a buddy mount a '62 40hp Evinrude and modern steering on the boat this summer. Other than that and some wiring, everything is original. Any clue out there to what I have?
