Looking for ky.lake cabin

Looking for a cabin to rent on Ky.Lake or Lake Barkley
in the area's across from LBL. Not looking for a resort,
would like a private home/cabin.
Would like to be south of the "busy" northern end.
Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks for the link. Last year we stayed just to the south at Grannys Branch on the east side of the Big Sandy Unit Peninsula.
We wanted to explore the Big Sandy river but when we rounded the point in our little 16' tinny the water was a little too rough for gf and two dogs so we turned back. Had a great time there, that's a really nice part of the lake.

Buchanan's looks really nice but no dogs allowed. Did find a couple of resorts in that area that do. Not really into the resort scene, no kids just dogs, looking for that "one in a million" secluded cabin all by itself. If we don't find it theirs still lots of great places.

good luck on your hunt. and yes, big water at times.

PS - we always bring our dogs with no issues.

This is technically a "resort", but might be what you're looking for. They have a variety of cabins and take pets for an extra fee.
