have you tried an outboard dealer? I'd just worry about getting the right size for the 40hp and use a garbage can with water for the smaller ones. Then you'll see what the water pump is actually pumping, not just the water being pushed by the hose water pressure. It's also better for setting idle, 'cause you have water for exhaust back-pressure (like when it's on a boat). The cavitation plate on bigger motors is bigger, so the ole garbage can test tank gets too small, but I'd guess for your 25 it'd still work. <br /><br />Brent
