Looking for parts for '71 Merc 800 .......

.... from the iBoats store but can't find what I need.

Doing some general maintenance/overhaul on this motor sn 3148751 and having trouble finding parts.

I found the carb kits and waterpump repair kits but no listings for the fuel pump repair kit and lower unit seal kit. Ideally I'd like the different shim kits for the lower unit as well but that may be a bit specialized.

Anyone in the know point me in the right direction?

Have you tried www.boats.net or www.crowleymarine.com ? Both sell OEM parts.

Once you have parts numbers, you can also check at www.boatfix.com for aftermarket Sierra Marine parts.

I took a quick look at the Boats.net diagram and they show bearing shims as available. Also listings for dual and single-style fuel pumps.

I didn't see a listing for a complete seal kit, but if you go to the Boatfix.com site, I know Sierra carries those and you should be able to cross-reference to the Merc part # (or just use the Sierra kit, nothing wrong with their seal kits and might be cheaper than the Merc parts). The seals and O-rings are available separately as well.

I've gotten real good service from both Boatfix and Boats.net in the past and they typically will have the best prices as well.
