Does anyone have a zoomed in picture of an outboard such as a 25hp with remote steering hooked up? And one that uses a transom mount for the cable support tube? Just wanted to see it all assembled.

Warren i don't have a picture like you want. but, turn the wheel all the way left, then count the revolutions, turn all the way right, then center the wheel, now center the motor, the cable goes thru the transom mount, and connect to the engine without moving the engine. then tighten the transom mount to the cable so the outer sheath does not move.

Warren, If you go to the websites for the steering gear manufacturers, you may find some illustrations. You will need the steering cable support tube and a bracket that attaches the tube to the splashwell. it will be easily availible, but expensive.
