Looking for resistance numbers for ignition charge coils and pulse coils for 199

I am having ignition problems and I am trying to check the coils and CDI. My Clymer manual lists voltage outputs for the CDI, Pulse, and Charge coils but no resistances. It has resistances listed for models up to 90 hp. The resistances I have measured is
Charge Coils: Brown-Red 1043 ohms; Blue-Black\Red 118.2 ohms
Pulse Coils: White\Red-White\Yellow 330.5 ohms; White\Blue-White\Green 326.5 ohms.

Any help would be appreciated. I have described my problems in a previous post entitled "1996 C115 Yamaha dies suddenly".

u really need to test volts

coils primary should be less than 1 ohm
secondary should be at least 1 K

u will need a dva to test volts though

i do not trust ohms
i have seen it ohm right but had no volts

I believe you are correct. I am in the process of looking for a peak volt meter or a dva adapter. Not so easy to find retail locally for some reason. The sales people look at me like I am crazy.

u can make a dva or get one at radio shack

Your resistance values are correct so far. Don't know the symptoms or anything but to complete test you should also do the ignition coils(B/W-B @ 2.5k)
