I have searched many sites Iboats, overtons etc. for a ski locker lid. that fits into the deck. I just finished replacing the deck and need to find a suitable hatch, lid what ever it is called. the old one had wood slats that were trashed and the metal ring was split in two areas. If anyone can help please forward the info to me. Thanks to all.

Mine came from the Great Lakes Skipper seller/site. eBay buy it now for $40 or something like that.

When I replaced the floor in my 18' Galaxie years ago I made my own. Do you know a carpenter?
You can make it out of teak, or if the floor is carpeted, you can make it out of resin coated ACX or marine grade ply & cover it to match.
Then hinge it or make it removable.

try boat junk yards, too. But I think your best bet us as said above--make one.

You don't tell us where you are. If you were in
Florida we have a number of surplus marine part and supply dealers available to us. Look in the Yellow pages, or google surplus marine parts, and find one near you.

Or make one.

Re: looking for ski locker lid

sorry fellow boaters, I am from sw pa. I have an 82glassport and have seen in the past what seemed to be PVC locker lids with flush mount frame. I can not seem to remember where I seen them... I do like the look of Teak but the one that was in the boat could not handle the high traffic area, always seemed to loosen up. The Size isn't important as I can cut it into the existing storage bay. 20"w x 50''l Thanks again..!
