Looking for spec info on a boat.

I have what is called a 20 foot Eastporter. It is fiberglass and the registration says it is a 1986. I have no VIN plate or rating plate info plate on it anywhere. Does anyone know where this boat was made or have any specific info for HP rating and weight rating?

Is there not a HIN number molded into the starboard side of the transom, up near the rubrail?

The first 3 characters of the HIN will be the manufacturer's identification code. From that you can then look up the company name, location, etc. That at least would be a start to getting more information.

There is some banter on the Internet that they are gone.
