I was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me suggestions/opinions on what to do. Here is my problem...My parents have a 1982 Chrysler 125 that they got back from the dealer right after memorial day that they brought in there due to it not running right. Come to find out the head gasket was blown and they got it replaced. They then took the boat on a fishing trip and ended up blowing out the base/exhaust (not sure what it is called) gasket. I have decided to take it into my own hands and replace it myslef. I got the power head off the mid section and cleaned it up. I have come across a bigger issue now, I noticed that the engine block is cracked in several locations. My question is is it possible to get those cracks welded, is it worth getting them welded if it is possible or should they just try to get rid of it. The engine is on a 1983 fiberglass Sulvan which was taken care of all its life (Parents are the only owner) so it is still in very nice condition.
Thank you
Ryan
