Hello:

I did a few posts last week and had a lot of great help from everyone. THANKS....

I have determined by checking other things out that the idle speed needs turned up slightly. I am not referring to the carb mixture screw on each carb, but rather the idile speed screw.

Now, I do have a manual and looked through it cover to cover. I can't seem to find the screw, although they do reference it in the manual.

My best determination is the little roller and stop nut on the bottom carb linkage bar(I HAVE 3 CARBS). My guess is that if I loosed the nut a bit and tighten the screw a bit it will work.

Does this sound correct, or is this located somewhere else in the engine like near the side under the flywheel?

Thanks everyone.

Thanks everyone.

The Idle screw is NOT the little roller and stop nut on the bottom carb linkage bar.
The idle screw is located about 2 inches behind the above screw. You will need a 7/16 wrench to loosen the lock nut and then tighten the idle screw clockwise to speed up. ( move your throttle up and down and you will see the Idle Screw come away from the power head)
