I have dissasembled the fuel bracket and most of its components. It was crudded up,

I found the vapor pump assy for sale and also a main diaphram ..but there are two gaskets and the diaphram used, and the place i was looking didnt list the gaskets seperately.

Id rather NOT buy the whole vapor Pump Assy, for $95!!

thanks

from this exploded diagram from shop.evinrude.com

there doesnt seem to me, to be any parts other than the whole assy or one diaphram part#37 and #38

the vapor pump is a sandwhich assembly three molded plastic pieces with two gaskets and a diaphram all sandwhiched together, the middle piece is complicated itself, with self contained assemblies in it as well!!!

here is mine:

Bob, have you tried any of the salvage yards listed on this forum for a complete pump?

no, I took it apart to make sure everything was clean...id think Id be in the same boat with any used part!!!

this is an extra fuel conponent bracket i bought , when i bought some heads and carbs on craigslist...they threw in the harness and this bracket( no fuel pumpp though!)

so the one vapor pump I have on my 115 is still intact... as well is the spare that needs to go back onto the 1997 90 hp i am rebuilding..

my plan was to get stuff rebuilt and ready , so when i tear down the cowling... and I pulled worn or parts needing rebuilding, I have parts to go right back on, that day!!

on this job i am doing...I was having leaking on several carbs, and I have had them two years, then the motor was giving me some starting issues... I traced the main issue to the starter, so when i pull the cowling to replace the starter, i figure i install rebuilt carbs and fuel components and hoses , while I am at it!!!!!!!!

sooooo i wanted to have a rebuilt vapor pump ready to go...

didnt know they wouldnt offer gaskets

Ill probably just go buy some gasket material and cut my own...

thanks

Now you're talking. A good mechanic can repair things and not just replace parts. I still have my set of gasket hole cutter punches I bought 30 yrs ago.
