Re: Looking out your front porch.

A little snow for Xmas would be nice for the grandkids.
But I'm not complaining....I'll be splitting wood this weekend.

I would do this one but I am not at my house. I, a southern boy, went to visit my daughter in the city of Chicago. I am looking out of the 38th floor to a downtown view. Big city, lots of snow and cold temps. Finish this when I get back to Texas. Charlie

I for a laugh would have opened the front door into the hallway and snapped a pic of the nieghbors door across the hall.

Edit: My sincerest apology's to Ladyfish, what I say isn't always what I am trying to say.

Those pics of snow are very pretty to look at. I'm sure glad to be living in Florida though. Heck I hope to go grouper fishing on Saturday, temp should reach 80. Merry Christmas every one.

Here is a view looking at my front porch. You get the idea, no snow down South in coastal Ga. Supposed to be 75 today and 79 tomorrow.

Looking out the front porch isn't as nice a view as the back porch for me. First time there has been ice on the waters for years.

Wow Don! That's purty cool! How often do you fish that river and how often your yard got flooded? I've always wanted a backyard that extends to the river bank.

It doesn't flood, and it's just a canal attached to Duck lake. There is a huge drain at the end of the main canal that drains into Grays Harbor (Ocean). Even with days of heavy rains, it remains the same level.

Well, it's warmer today so I trotted over and snapped a shot off the creek.
The crows were going ape ... I knew there would be a hawk around. Two of 'em!

I'm not real sure how that coverts. I guess about 30 or 31 F.

Thats what I always loved about driving the big rig to Canada, it was governed at 67mph, but in Canada it would go a little over 100kmh...;)

You realize that 100 km/hr is about 60 mph.
America has higher speed limits that most other country's. cuz a lot stop at 100 km/hr.
