Loose hose ?

2000 90hp J90VLSSE. I found this hose connected on vapor pump(above primer) connection on vapor pump is horizonial going to starboard , hose is 1/8" ID and about 5/16" OD and about a foot long ,my big question is where is the connection located at . I think(?) it connects to lower main bearing but even if it does where is connection located at ? Hose has a yellow stripe . Please help ! Thanks PS :VRO has been disconnected ,still use the fuel pump.

Two hoses goes on air box ,I've got those and the bottom one is about 3/16" ID and the top one is the other hose that comes off the vapor pump . Thanks for replying . Still need to know about that hose.

One hose comes from vapor pump and goes to lower main bearing , question : Where is the location of this connection(nipple) that this hose goes on ? Where do I look?

The vapor pump has two hoses, one usually in a nylon sleeve the goes to the pulse nipple almost directly be hind the pump. The other from the starboard nipple usually tees into the line going to the air box as faztbullett says. I'll post a pic in a minnow.

The hose I'm in question is the other one coming out of the vapor pump , the one going up tees up and goes into top hole of air box but the hose coming straight out going starboard goes and connect where? Really three hoses # 1 going to pulse , #2 goes to tee and into air box , #3 ?

Only have a "dumb" phone ,but that hose shows up in your photos ,which is exactly like my motor , the hose in question is the one down and behind the one that goes into the tee. After it leaves vapor pump it goes toward top left carburetor then travels down . These are really good pics.

As you look to the front of the motor, all the way down just to the right of where the shift rod gets pinned there is a nipple.

Hope that helps, good luck. You will have to remove fuel bracket. In all my years never seen that come undone.

That nipple has the hose coming from starboard balance tube and mine is connected . Your pic shows the hose that is in question its the one going toward top starboard carberator and then takes a down turn . Wait I took another look I see two hoses near each other ,I'll go take another look .
