loose motor mount bolts

1980 fiberglass hull 15', '79 rude 70, I found both the starboard side motor mount bolts loosened. I'm wondering if I should tighten 'em.<br /><br />Just kidding...<br /><br />My real question is: should I use loctite or something on 'em? <br /><br />One of the tilt cylinder mounting bolts had vibrated loose too, loctite there too?<br /><br />Thanks!

I use red or blue loctite on most every marine fastener, depending on the application. Did they have that back in '79? Or might that transom wood be rotten? I don't think they were using pressure treated plywood in transoms back then either.
