Loose power to engine and dash and trim.but lights n radio work

Having trouble I got engine to run shut it of then tried to turn back on and nothing..everything on dash dead including trim..just radio and lights work..brand new battery you..help please..

First you`ll have to help us by telling us what your working on.

I'd check the main power switch off your new battery, then trace it from there.

start with the battery cables ends ,clean and tight .Yamaha stopped using chevy engines a long time ago
