Loose Serpentine Belt on 4.3 Volvo Penta

I have a boat with a 2008 4.3 Volvo Penta engine. My serpentine belt keeps slipping off. The belt is new and the engine has an automatic belt tensioner. Even with the automatic tensioner the belt seems loose. Is there any way to adjust the automatic tensioner on the volvo engine.

you sure you got the correct size belt? Might want to go with one that is an inch or 2 shorter. I don't think you can adjust the tensioner, but am not familiar with this exact set-up
