I would think trolling would be insinuating wrong assumptions concerning other forum members, for the purpose of slander/making them angry/getting a yuk from the support base.

What’s Bush done? It’s not just Bush I have an issue with, it’s the whole leadership base of our country. And to answer your question, besides getting us into a war in a country where we should not have gone, raising our national deficit to an all time record high, and spending money as fast as they can get it from us, he hasn’t taken anything from me that I don’t willingly give. I’m a white, upper middle class man. I’m heterosexual, pay my taxes, and am working on a pension. I have a nice sized savings account and money in stocks. So my personal “inconvenience” is minimal. If this was 1861 and you were asking me what slavery had done to hurt me, or what the institution of slavery had taken from me, my answer would be the same. Thank whatever G/god you want that some people don’t have to be personally impacted to see the need for change.

What bothers me the most is not what he/they do, it’s what he/they allow to continue……

blah....blah.....blah

We are not at war, we are on a pussyfooting mis-adventure.
When one is at war the aim is to obliterate your enemy, lets not pretend otherwise.

This is a big misconception.
War is

Getting another nation to do what you want them to do, while inflicting the least damage necessary.
If it takes an H-bomb like Hiroshima and Nagasaki, then that is what it takes to inflict the least damage.
Our goal is not to "obliterate" the enemy.
Our goal is to "defeat" our enemy.
There is a difference.

AK,

I must disagree. The goal is not to defeat terrorists. Terrorists cannot be defeated, only obliterated.

Although I don't want to put words into Vlad's mouth, I believe he thinks we are only trying to defeat them, and that cannot be done. If we killed 90% of all terrorists, the other 10% would still attempt to terrorize. Therefore, obliterate all of them!

True to form for the redumblican sheople, when faced with a valid point or facts that you can't spin (or lie) away, just belittle those who are opposing your viewpoint or objective, in this case blind support for baby bush.

I said blah...blah...blah because he was asked a question and didn't answer it but with a lot to do nothings with what he was asked. So I stand by my remarks.

Since this is the single ugliest troll I have ever seen on this board LFK, will you list some of the democracies (freedoms) that President Bush has taken away and how it has inconvenienced you personally so that we may all try to understand why you feel as you do?

If trolling is posting something someone else said for the purpose of starting a discussion or enlisting comments from board members, than I’m guilty.

For the purposes of an iBoats forum, trolling means posting something that the Bush-supporting majority finds annoying or aggravating...

The single "ugliest" troll ever? Come on!

Re: Losing our Democracy

Look what happened to this thread. We got the ole I am so smart, US not democracy but federal republic, writer is a left wing nut, nothing but a troll.

When in fact the statements made are all true whatever the reason. We have lost freedom and liberty and our government is breaking the laws that the writers of the Consitiution specifically put in place to keep the government in the hands of the people.

If that is ok with you then just be happy life is really good for you and your children. If you would rather keep liberty and freedoms then you should address the issue and expect this closed minded sight to hit you with a bit of name calling although it will not be seen as namecalling but justified description of the evil liberal on the left who all are on Iraq and Osama's side.

By the way, to blame W is probably wrong as I personally do not see him as evil, just really stupid. However, his administration has committed atrocities. List one, how about illegal detention of person of middle east descent without charges of any kind and without the right to representation. One doctor living in the US for many years was held for 60 days without charges. 9/11 was hell not doubt and so was Pearl Harbor but as we look back we must learn from our errors.

But txswinner, there's plenty of precedent thoughout history for flinging people into prison for indefinate time, without charges or representation, or the right to face their accusers or the evidence against them. How many can you name?

I was going to say "Sadam Hussein" but I won't , because I don't want to offend anyone.

What the flyin' flip is happening here? Now, I agree with CJY . . . ??? Operation Obliteration underway!! Maybe it should go more like this: "Either you are with us, or you'll be obliterated." We'll need even less Democracy to get that one done, no? Thankfully, GWB is close to rewriting the Constitution too. Ya know, the Supreme Court is in his back pocket and the Legislative Branch is just for show. That'll surely help with all this other pesky nonsense.

Huffington Post? Lost me after that!
I am getting sick of living in this gulag and not having any freedom. Just last week a bunch of BushCo Storm Troopers were on the lake checking for "safety equipment", yea right, they were trying to find out if I knew the words to the Pledge of Allegiance. Luckily I grew up during the fascist 60's and remembered it. Some others weren't so lucky. I haven't seen them again!8)
