Re: Losing things

LOL @ scrapper :D

Recently discovered missing: 2 (two) trailer winch handles.

Why two handles?
For long as I can remember the threads on the winch handle bolt are all kinds of messed up so the crank handle stays in the boat, just toss it into the hole inside the bow under the gunwale where there used to be a locking glove box, where we keep the the extra rope. Then one day time to load the boat, no handle. Must have left it on the gunnel & not noticed it fall in the lake. Big crescent wrench (that's a "spanner" for the UK guys) in the truck no problem. When I grew tired of using the big spanner I bought a new handle.

Found the old handle bout a year later right where I left it, guess it shifted over to one side or the other and hid out inside the gunnel for awhile. So now I got two handles.

Now they're both missing, just like that.

Re: Losing things

A few years ago I tied on a brand new $9 Terminator spinnerbait, bit off the tag end of the line and tossed it overboard... it sank to the bottom where it sits today. Turned out it wasn't the tag end I bit. duuuh.

spots
