Give me the motor and buy a new one. :)

Replace the fuel line from tank to the fuel pump.
Get a good one from Mercury if you can, the cheap ones from walmart don't last.
Examine the fuel lines to the carbs for cracks or looseness.

You may need to replace the fuel pump diaphragm, but lets start with the fuel line first.

Oh yeah, please post the year and hp of the motor so we know what you are trying to fix.

I'd say rebuild your fuel pump. If it's never been done, it's way overdue. Parts are cheap for that.

WillyBWright: What is there to rebuild in a fuel pump ?

Just curious, since my 15hp does not suck gas from the carb when it's been sitting there for more than 3 days.
