dear outboard heads, i just purchased for my collection a evinrude 14 S P L, color being like aqua w/ a green stripe ive seen this color before, in a 9.9 and a 15, but have never seen a 14 spl? nor has anyone i know.
the model #is ve14rccs, the serial #is 1842645, and below that it reads outboard marine corporation

can someone please cure my frustrations as to year, and anything special i would need to know? i have several omc 15s near this era but this motor does not look at all like these.
