Lost key

I have an old pontoon boat with a 1979 75hp Evinrude motor. I have lost the key to the boat and I am trying to sell it. What would be the best way to get a new key?

Look on the lock face for a number if its something like 79-# should be able to find one for less than $20

Buy a new key switch for around $45

If you have the lock numbers a key can be ordered, I had on ordered thru BassPro, had to wait over 6 weeks to get it.
