Lost my fill plug seal in the driveway

I'm scouring all my junk drawers looking for something alternative to seal my gearcase fill plug, I'm trying to avoid having to make a trip to my not so local not so stocked marine store. It's just my beater fishing boat and I was hoping to have a faucett washer or something to make one out of, anyone have any Mgyver experience on this one?

Gearcase fill plug 60HP evinrude 1967 not the kind with o-ring but just a flat neoprene or nylon I don't know washer.

The drain plug gaskets from OMC and Mercruiser outdrives are the same size.

One of 2 things you can do make one out of a bleach bottle plastick, just cut round.

Home depot sells the washer also made ot of the same stuff as oem washers.

Got to find it though it's in the hardware draws, near the screws and bolts.

And thats basicaly what I did, wasn't exactly a bleach bottle but more the same, It'l work fine for temporary I'm leaving work early tomorrow to go out fishing for some early spring eyes, I'll buy some real mccoy first chance I get, thanks. Still can't believe I couldn't find the darn thing it blend well with #57 gravel.

You can order them online also. They're cheap to ship.

Home depot got them 1 dollar for 10. And the book calls for a new one every time you open the plug.

I got to say the home depot and the ones i got from the local evinrude dealer are the exact same you should see if you can find them in home depot.

My friend never bought one in his life makes all these from bleach bottle plastick.
