lost nuts and bolts

About 5 years ago I removed my 4 cyl engine from my 86 cobra ski boat and had the engine rebuilt, bored, new pistons cam etc.. the works. Today after 5 years (long story) I started to install the engine back in the boat and I cannot find my flywheel nuts as well as several other bolts .. Anybody know the size of the flywheel nuts or where to get some.. I can replace the other misc bolts, which are probably with the fly wheel nuts, which I thought were in the boat, but alas I searched all day. I cannot find a nut to fit one of the bolts on the crank in my misc bolts trays to go get new ones. Are the nuts special in any way? Also can some identify what engine I have in the photo. I think I heard 120hp once. looks like an S10 engine I had once.

It looks like you might have a 3.0 L
How do I know? Looks almost exactly like my 1987
You're going to need a lot of time but good luck installing!

Can I tell what engine and year it is from these? I took a flywheel stud with me and got some new nuts/bolts from Fastenal. The issue I'm having at the moment is mounting the alternator. It mounts up but the pivot bolt will interfere with the belt unless the alternator is adjusted completely up or down, anywhere in the middle the belt hits the pivot bolt head. Don't suppose you have any pictures of your engine?

Edit to add pic. Does this look right as far as where the alternator is suppose to mount?

It's a JV in your model number, not JU. Which makes it a 1993 3.0L engine.

Thank you very much. Nevermind the previous question about alternator location. I looked up some 3.0l on youtube and its right, just have to figure out why the belt wants to rub the pivot bolt. I'm new here so I guess I should introduce myself, I'm Jim and I'm in south Arkansas. I've been waiting a long time to get my boat running again. The engine builder had the engine almost 3 years. It was a back burner project as he's a very busy guy building race engines for dirt track racers in the area. Anyway the block was cracked when I bought it, found out first time I changed the oil and he said he could fix it. Once fixed, when he went to reassemble he said the piston fell right through the cylinder and the cam lobe that runs the fuel pump was worn badly, so I had him bore it and do a complete rebuild. Very eager to see hat kind of difference it's makes. It would pull one skier up if that skier could hold on long enough till the boat planed out.
I do have a question about the gas tank. The boats been sitting for close to 5 year (indoors), I plan on draining what gas is in it, if any, anything I need to do to the tank before I fill with new gas? Now I'm wondering if my boat is newer than an 86 model, I thought it was an 86 model now I'm not so sure.

I got the engine installed this evening ... hurray. I did not install the starter yet, I'm thinking of getting a gear reduction starter, aren't they smaller and weigh less? My starter is so big and a lot of weight hanging on the two bolts. Is there a bracket or something that's suppose to support the other end of the starter or is it suppose to just hang from the two bolts? There is a bolt sticking out the back of the starter that looks like a bracket can be attached to. Thanks

Hello again, can someone tell me where the coil mounts. I currently have it behind the bracket with the two breakers on it but I don't think it goes there and I can't find two hole that match up, that's within range of the coil wire and the two electric cables. Also do I have the wire on the alternator right? I have the big orange one on the big red connector, a purple/white on the big black connector, a solid purple on the lower right, a red wire on the lower left connector and the black going to the ground screw? Also my gas line coming from the tank, does this go directly to the fuel pump? My fuel pump has a screw fitting on both sides and my hose is just a hose with a bolt stuck in it don't know how it was suppose to connect to it. looks like I'm missing some stuff.

Yep, after searching around, I am missing both fuel lines with the fittings that come off the fuel pump. I do not know why I would taken these out of the boat to begin with...Grrr
