I hit my the back end of my 1993 Tracker DV 17 today into the dock while taking it out of the water. That aluminum plate at the very back where the side meets the transom popped off and sank in about 20 feet of stinky water. Does anyone know where I would get one of these? It's an aluminum boat and the plate was made out of aluminum. Thanks

Have you thought about trying a heavy piece of cord and a large treble hook, maybe you could snag your old one of the bottom. Might be worth a try.

I went back last night with a net and a really long handle and tried dragging the bottom but no luck. I think i'm gonna have to go in with a mask and a butt load of antibiotics:)

Re: Lost part of boat

I tried several Tracker dealers and they say they can't get parts before 1998. I'm going to call those two numbers and if no luck there I'll head to a fabrictor. Thanks for all your help. So far this boat has been allot of fun and a hell of an education:)
