Loud Motor

Greetings,

On the tour everyone knows when I start the 150 yamaha up. Sounds like a race car. Extremly loud.

My understanding is that the exaust may have been drilled out to increase hole shot.

My question: If this is true, is there a repair for this or do I invest in ear plugs?

Yes the exhaust might have been modified .... you can replace it with a new one but that is gonna cost you and you will have to remove the powerhead .... besides the loud sound of a modified yamaha is music to my ears, smell the 2stroke and enjoy the sound, it is addictive haha ... enjoy
