What is it with people wanting to create noise while boating? This is exactly why yachties hate power boats so much. Enjoy the sounds of silence and the beauty the ocean has to offer. If you want noise, go watch Nascar....

Re: louder exhaust?

from what i understand. the exhaust tube instead of exhaust bellows may produce a little more noise since it's not directly connected to the bell housing..

i'll have to agree with others above though. noise is just that, and the more i go boating, the less i like exhaust noise. if it added performance i could understand and maybe live with it, but it don't, it just makes more noise..

can i get my noise fix on watching high performance boat racing instead please... ;)

BIG speakers out the back, and a sound system playing a recording of a real engine. With an OFF switch.

This is good advice. Sound does nothing for performance so why bother.

Ehhhhhh, try running a 650hp BBC with logs and thru-hub, it becomes 550-or-so hp with logs and thru-hub.
Making it louder for the sake of making it louder, doesn't make much sense. Opening up the exhaust to flow better, especially with other upgraded components, certainly does.
