2001 Mercury Optimax 200 hp (engine)

Low oil alarm is beeping every 2 minutes. The readout on the speedo says low reserve oil alarm, It actually is counting down from 99% full to currently 88% full. The problem is that not only are my main oil containers are full but the reserves on both engines are as well. I chekced the fuses on the engines and they are all ok. The dockside mechanic are 4 weeks booked up.. due to hurricane wilma. Can any please provide any kind of support ??? Im thinking its a switch issue but I even disconnected the oil res. wires on the engine and it still beeps.. is there a reset button?

Re: Low oil alarm (reserve tank)

Try bleeding the engine oil resevoirs. With the engine running, loosen the filler cap until oil comes out of the top. If this doesn't work, you may need to hook up to a DDT @ a service center.
