low rpms

2005 60hp 4 stroke, out of water 6000 rpms, in water maxes at 2800. very broiling wake and engine shakes a little.
replaced fuel filter. Engine has low miles. Need help.

a 2005 should still have a model # on it.
is this a Yamaha or a Suzuki?

not sure what a broiling wake would be
and no one should be running a motor with no load on it at 6K RPMS

Problem solved. Spake plug in cyl 2 failed. Sparked nicely hanging out of motor but no spark
when put back in. Internal failure , meter tested showed continuity, probe to case. Probaly a insulator crack.

Don't be running a motor out of the water to a high RPM. It serves no purpose whatsoever. It can damage the motor.

Wish I knew why people do this. Makes no sense at all.
