Does any one know how good these are with the Structure scan in dams that were once valleys then flooded for a Hydro Electric scheme and are full of trees, we troll for trout and bob for reddies

There is a guy here with one and it shows just about everything. I'm thinking real serious about getting one myself. It's either this one or the Hummingbird

Thanks,I been looking at quite a few side and down scan the structure scan seems the best in sunken trees,the cost here is $1650AUD what are they there?

Took the plunge yesterday into a Lowrance Elite 7 combo with 83/200 transducer with Navionics Silver card $950.00AUD,just got it in the boat see how it goes tomorow

Took the plunge yesterday into a Lowrance Elite 7 combo with 83/200 transducer with Navionics Silver card $950.00AUD,just got it in the boat see how it goes tomorow

I have the same one. I really like it. No complaints.

Went out today off the coast below Brisbane new area for us,salt water depth varies from 5' to 12',Navionics work well,great screen easy to see.
slow to load,I have a hot 12v feed straight from the batts 2x 90AMH in parrallel plus the aux feed thu the ign,on crank the screen drops out but not all the time,motor is 350 Vortec Mercruiser,any thoughts

It is slow to load from what I've seen but presents a good picture. As for the connections, so long as it is installed according to what they specify you should be good. If you have one maybe put a electrical filter in line to keep out surges.

Dropping on crank problem easily fixed,have not used the boat for 3 weeks,volts droping to 10v on crank just too low batts charged overnite all is well,thanks for all the replies,off to find some fish!!!
